Emotionally stirred by how the forest nurtures and provides shelter for its inhabitants, Kakuyasu Uchiide designed a pair of lashes that recreate the beauty and delicacy of leaves. These glimmering lashes made from real skeleton leaves are drenched in glimmering gold. Transparent crystals sit atop this hand-crafted piece of art for a glistening, captivating look. ($79)

Spending much of his time at the beach, Yuji Asano looked to the sea for inspiration when creating his lashes. One of nature’s most profound marvels, the ocean with its vastness and crashing waves can calm and rejuvenate the spirit. The unique curl design of this lash echoes the undulating roll of the ocean’s tidal cycle. This striking lash also references Mr. Uemura’s iconic “umbrella” eyelash. It is weaved with multiple shades of blue, from sea and sky blue to deep turquoise, accented with a sprinkling of white foam.

Inspired by a flower’s ability to lift spirits and engender energy, Gina Brooke created a pair of false eyelashes as a way to share her sensibilities with the world. This lash’s design emulates the tail of a bird whose exotic purple plumage is accented with white flecking. Petal-like forms hide inside the lashes, bringing to mind a bouquet of sweet peonies. Perfect for any extravagant or fanciful look.

Fall 2009 Makeup Trends. Makeup trends for the fall season. One of the best seasons to try a new makeup look is the fall. It's filled with new trends that were seen on the runway as well as classic looks that are rich with color.

This fall one of the hottest hues is purple. It can be seen on everything from your eyes, to your lips, cheeks and ohh yes even on the nails. Another trend is dramatic eye looks, so if you're the type of girl who loves playing up your eyes fall is your season to stand out. Eyeshadows ranging from blues, to smokey blacks, aqua hues, pinks, glitery looks, and ohh yes reds. Red eyeshadow is a trend on the rise for fall and is a look that is very edgy.

Other trends for fall include matte foundation, blues, golds, nude matte lips as well as red matte lips.

Skincare:

• Volcanic Ash Exfoliator (LE) $19.50USD
  For all skin types. Volcanic ash (in the form of mineral-rich clay), sugar crystals and natural enzymes combine to exfoliate and remove excess oils from the skin.
  
  The VAE is in new packaging. It's in a tube like shave and cremewash. It did go down to 3.4oz (the older style tub was 4.5oz).
  
  NOTE: The VAE also contains sulfer, so be careful if you have sensitivies to it.
  
  
• Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask (LE) $19.50USD
  VATM contains natural volcanic ash to cleanse and treat the skin. The mineral-rich ash works with oat kernel flour to help absorb excess oil from the skin's surface. A combo of natural oils (lavendar, sunflower, safflower seed and evening primrose) help lubricate the skin, leaving it feeling soft and moisturized. It helps to even out the skin's texture and leaves the skin feeling smooth and perfected for makeup application. The unique formula glides effortlessly onto the skin, allowing ample playtime. The mask heats up on the skin when used with water and removes impurities from the surface, leaving skin looking radiant and fresh. Use 1-3 times a week. Mac Colour Craft Swatches and Review. The Colour Craft collection was all about Msfs and so many colors from the collection were breathtakingly gorgeous. If you're a big fan of Msfs make sure you pick up some goodies. Many worry that the Msfs are really glittery but I think Mac really turned it down this time around and made sure that nothing was too over the top glittery. The eyeshadows were also alot creamier and easier to apply then with other collections. One of my favorite Msf's was Sunny By Nature because it was so close to my skin tone and it was so soft and more matte then some of the others from the collection. The lip glosses were also alot easier to apply then with the sugarsweet collection. and they are also more pigmented. Look below to see swatches from the collection.

Mac Graphic Gardens Swatches Fresh Cut Palette. The Fresh Cut palette from the Mac Graphic Gardens collection is for those of us girls who love soft pinks and reddish brown hues. The palette contains 6 shades which you can see swatched below. I'm not sure what the name of the shades are since Mac doesn't say but all of the shades are gorgeous. I also adore the packaging. It changes when you move it going from flowers to a black and white mac logo.
