Make Up For Ever HD Foundation Review
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation Review. The Make Up For Ever HD foundation was something that I could not wait to get my hands on. Created to give you a flawless and natural finish since it is also known as the invisible cover foundation. This little baby comes in 25 different shades ranging from the fairest to darkest shades.
What Make Up For Ever Says It Does:
An oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. Creates a soft-focus effect, designed to meet the coverage concerns of those in the spotlight. It creates a complexion that looks flawless, even in bright or harsh lighting.
What I Say It Does: To be honest I'm still on the fence about this foundation. My skin tends to be on the oily side in the summer and on the dry side in the winter. Which makes it really hard for me to find a good foundation sometimes. It's crazy. I tested this product originally in the summer time and my face looked so shiny its not even funny. I thought maybe since its oil free It would be fine but I was wrong. Also the color matches are kinda off. I find that with Make Up For Ever the shades for African Americans are all wrong. They put way too much yellow in the yellow shades and way too much red in the red shades. Maybe more shades with neutral undertones would work. They need more of a better shade choices like Mac. I find that Mac offers the best shades hands down for African American complexions.
On the other hand I do find that I can get away with wearing shade number 177 for yellow undertones only when wearing the number 4 Make Up For Ever Primer. Since it brings more warmth to my skin. (to read more about that click here) Overall its looks okay and Its been nice wearing it as the weather gets colder and my skin gets dryer. Since this foundation offers a bit of moisture to the skin. It would be nice if they offered more shades for the in between. As far as the Hd part it does hide imperfections well but when I look in the mirror it still looks and feels like I'm wearing makeup.
